i like feet

That sounds SO gross! It actually isn’t as weird as it sounds. Well, I guess it might be a little bit weird. Let me explain. In the past few weeks I’ve been scouring my hard drive looking for images to feature on both the website and this blog. Since I have only photographed the beautiful people, this shouldn’t be hard, right? But it turns out that a lot of my favorite images aren’t exactly the best choices for promoting portrait photography. Case in point – feet.

Until my recent quest for portfolio-worthy pics, I didn’t realize how many pictures I take of people’s feet! I’m sure we could come up with some kind of smart-sounding scholarly reason like:  Feet tell your life story; they know where your going and they know where you’ve been.

I totally just made that up. Truth is, I don’t know why I do it, but now that I do know, I’m a little embarrassed!

Dear children,  I am very sorry.

Melissa - that’s funny! i do the same thing… except usually it’s mine and somebody’s feet. with shoes on… “feets in the park”, feets in the snow” “bowling feets” i know feets isn’t a word, but it makes me giggle to know that i am talking pics of my feet in a new place with special people!April 4, 2009 – 9:54 am
