If you have been reading my blog for more than a day, you’ve probably read about April and Scott. I shot their maternity session back in January. Little Rosston was born last week, so I took a short trip down on Sunday to meet him. I was super excited to take his newborn photos. At only six days old, he is absolutely perfect. He has beautiful pouty little lips and a head full of stylish spikey hair. And he’s very smart. I’m totally thrilled for April and Scott that their sweet baby boy is finally here.
I know it’s kind of hokey, but for some reason as I’ve been editing these photos, words from an old Elton John song have been playing in my head.
Hey you, you’re a child in my head
You havent walked yet
Your first words have yet to be said
But I swear you’ll be blessed
Is that weird? Little Rosston doesn’t realize it yet, but he is blessed. So many people have prayed for him and become emotionally invested in his precious little life (just stop by April’s Facebook page if you don’t believe me!). I am honored to be even just a small part of this amazing time in his life.
