In my bio section above, I mention my wonderful friends. This is one area in life in which I have been truly blessed. I have made and held onto many lasting friendships, and each one is so very dear to me. My decision to use this blog as both a professional and personal outlet means if you hang around long enough, you’ll likely meet most of them. This is one of those times.
Last weekend, my friends Robin and Rossi (say THAT fast 10 times) and I spent the afternoon at the Magic City Art Connection here in Birmingham. We browsed the venue admiring the many talented artists and drooling over their jewelry, paintings, pottery and metal work. We had a fun afternoon despite the blazing sun and my brilliant decision to wear jeans on a 80°+ day.
This is Rossi. I realize this picture is a bit out of focus, but it shows the Rossi that I love. The girl is gorgeous and has the personality to boot. Her laugh is so infectious, and I keep cracking a smile as though I can hear her through this picture.

This is Robin. She and I go way back to our middle school years. One of the things I love about Robin is her willingness to do whatever, whenever. She is always game for those last minute dinners, going to the movies with just Allen and me and joining a book club while openly admitting she doesn’t like to read (and she has stuck with it!). She even openly embraced the Facebook page another friend I secretly created for her late one night.

Here is a fun one of the three of us after the festival. Please forgive my blatent LACK of makeup. Yes, I go out in public like that. I’m sorry.
