On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the Leader family. Mom and I had been e-mailing for some time, and it was great to finally meet everyone. The girls were so outgoing and fun, and we instantly became buds. They live in a great neighborhood here in town, so we took lots of great shots by just walking up and down their street and visiting with friends and neighbors out enjoying the day. We started things off at their beautiful home. Don’t let this sweet family portrait fool you though. This is not your typical sit-still-for-oh-so-perfect-family-portraits kind of family….
…this is a go-with-the-flow, run-and-play-till-we-drop kind of family. They tickled, and jumped, and hung upside down, and just had fun. It was so easy to fit right in and feel like I was just hanging with friends, and I loved every minute of our shoot!
We played on the “jumpy” for a long time. I hadn’t been on a trampoline in a very long time. If you haven’t either, I totally recommend you go find one and jump on it today. You’ll thank me. Just be sure to have a bottle of water and a chair near by when you are done… whew!
Thanks Leader family for letting us into your lives on Saturday. It was blast getting to know you guys, and I can’t wait to do it again!
