Before I start, have you seen the clip of Susan Boyle on You Tube? I don’t know where I’ve been, but apparently I missed this. I saw the first mention on another blog, but just now sat down to watch the full clip. I’ll give you the short version: Susan is a middle-aged woman from Scotland who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent last week. They set up her clip as though she is going to be horrible, but she 100% totally blows it out of the water instead. It is amazing. It honestly brought a tear to my eye. Almost overnight, Susan has become an international sensation. The video I watched has had almost 15 million views since Sunday. You just gotta love the internet! If you haven’t seen it, go check it out. Simon Cowell’s reaction at the end is classic.

Now back to the reason I’m here…
Last month, I had the privilege of taking little Rosston’s newborn portraits. One picture in particular stood out to me, and I secretly thought how cute it would be as an announcement. So when his mom asked me to design his birth announcement, I knew exactly where to start. There were so many great images from his session that we wanted to incorporate as many as we could. We ended up choosing a two-sided card which worked out beautifully. Designing this card was a team effort, and I’m so glad we put in the extra time to make it perfect. Just look at that sweet little face.

Speaking of sweet little faces… My new leave behind cards - with a little sweet face on the front – arrived in the mail today. I am really happy with how they turned out. My clients this weekend are getting them hot off the press, and I am thrilled to have a new package to hand out after each session.
Hi Sam. Remember me? I’m the lady with the camera that you liked until I started taking pictures instead of playing with you. Well guess what? I still got some great pictures of you, and I even chose one of them to go on my new product guide. I’m glad we’re friends again.
