On our last day in Raleigh, we were able to wrap up the conference and tear down the booth with a few hours of sunlight to spare. Addie and I walked over to the Raleigh Museum of Natural History hoping to see the dinosaur exhibit, but it had already closed for the day. We looped around downtown Raleigh and took the long way back to the hotel. We attempted another self portrait (no mirrors this time!) and I took a few scenery shots. Raleigh is such a beautiful city. It is full of history and has cool architecture to boot.

I was up at 5 a.m. the next morning to catch a flight home. The jerk of the landing plane woke me from a dead sleep on the first leg of my flight. And I’m pretty sure I drooled on the man next to me on the second leg to Birmingham. If you couldn’t guess, I’m not much of a morning person. When he and his wife got up to stretch, I slid over into their seats and snapped this photo. As much as I hate to fly, the world sure is beautiful from 30,000 feet.

So, I’m back! It was a such a productive trip for our company and fun time for us, but I’m so glad to be back home. Back to my husband, back to my house and back to business as usual. I have a lot coming up this week, so check in for all the fun photography you can stand.
