andrea & david

On Sunday I met up with Andrea and David in downtown Birmingham for a little couple’s session. Hey, just because you are married doesn’t mean you should give up on professional photographs! Andrea and David were so much fun and so easy to work. I felt comfortable that we had tons of great images, so we went ahead and called it a day. When I got back in my car I was shocked that it took us just barely 30 minutes for the whole shoot! I knew it went well, but dang! I think that’s a record. Here are a few of my favorites:

I didn’t even have to ask Andrea to be this fabulous, she just was! Her cute, spritely personality comes through so clearly in these photos. David is the perfect complement to Andrea’s spunk. He just chilled and smiled at her out of the corner of his eye.

It’s fun to get creative and photograph in an out-of-the-ordinary way, but you know what? Photos like this are always the ones I like the most. These are the kind of photos I want to frame. Definitely a favorite.

As we climbed up onto the railroad tracks, I promised them I wouldn’t get us killed. We could hear trains off in the distance, but couldn’t quite tell which direction they would come from. Sure enough, about two minutes later, two trains came in from two different directions. Thank goodness for a quick trigger finger and fun subjects who are up for anything!

Oooh. I like this one too.

How stinkin’ cute are they? I asked Andrea to “lean up against the fence like this” probably while making some sort of dorky face. I’m glad she didn’t listen to me, but totally rocked it instead! That’s why I’m on this side of the camera, folks.

Hey Andrea, can you teach me how to get killer biceps like those? Please?
