Since launching my new portfolio site a few weeks ago, I have received the most kind, blush-inducing compliments. As always, you guys are so supportive and encouraging, and it means the world. It also feels good to finally have a Web presence that I can be proud of and most importantly that FEELS like ME. This weekend it reached a pinnacle when I found out that I am a featured photographer on the “Showit Loves” site! WHAT?!
I screamed out to Allen, ”Get in here - I have to show you something!” And then, even though I was alone in my office, my face turned red from embarrassment. I couldn’t believe it. Among so many talented photographers and so many awesome Web sites, mine was chosen to be featured! Allen smiled the biggest smile and kissed me on the cheek. He knew without words what a big deal that was for me.

Although I am truly blessed to have my name attached to such an honor, I have to give full credit to Nick Haskins and the Spilled Milk Designs team. They are the brains behind the whole she-bang. And of course thanks to David Jay for creating such an amazing platform for photographers (and others!) to take control of their Web presence in such a creative and unique way. DJ, your kind words mean more than you could possibly know!
