abbey

Play is over now, and the workshop I’m attending in Phoenix is just beginning. But I couldn’t wait until I got back to show you this fun session I had last week:

Jamey was the Part II winner of my recent 500th commenter contest. When she suggested using her session for pictures of her Basset Hound, I was intrigued. Pet photography isn’t in my resume, but I figured what the heck. We had to reschedule because of rain several times. When we were finally able to get together last week, we had the most beautiful weather and a great session. Abbey is such a sweetheart! Have you ever seen a Basset Hound smile? – Well, you have now.

Oh my goodness, I SO love this next one. Jamey, it would be a crime to not print this as big as you can and hang it on the living room wall!

I absolutely adore these next two. Beautiful!

After a healthy round of Chase the Chipmunk, Abbey took a much needed rest on the porch. She still had her eye out for anything that wandered by. You can coach a Basset Hound into modeling for a photo shoot, but you can’t take away that instinct!

Deborah Zoe - The Hubs and I just sat on the couch and giggled uncontrollably at this little pup!!:)October 28, 2009 – 8:33 pm

Robbie Bagby - I was the adoption coordinator for the basset rescue Jamey got Abbey from when she was adopted. I can honestly say that Jamey is the best doggy mom any dog would want.
I am thankful to Jamey for the home she has provided to Abbey. Abbey didnt have a good life before going to rescue.
Thank you for doing this pet picture profile. You are very talented as a photographer. Keep up the good work and do more pet profiles when you have the opportunity.
Thanks again, Robbie BagbyOctober 27, 2009 – 8:04 am
