brothers

After my “sisters” post earlier in the week, it’s only fitting that I have a “brothers” post too! These sweet guys won my heart within 30 seconds of meeting them. Big brother is almost five and had such personality. The cutest part is how much he adores his new baby brother. We started our session with pictures of the baby, but big brother poked his head in for a few of his own. How cute is this?

I asked him if he would help us get a picture of the baby’s feet and this is what he did. I love it! We switched it up and Mom stepped in for the second shot.

Is there anything better than a chill baby? I think not!

We took turns showing each other our silly faces…

…but were able to capture some genuine ones too!

This sweet guy slept for a lot of the session. Look at those eyelashes! Speaking from experience with my straight, short, do-nothing lashes, I am envious of long Bambi eyelashes like those.

We ended the session just as it had begun. With some brotherly love… Big brother was so proud to show me how he could hold the little one, and he did such a good job! Rumor has it that when I was a baby my older brother would sit on me when me when no was looking, so I was seriously impressed with his love and attention to his little brother.

A special thanks to the Sonnet House for allowing us to have our session on their beautiful property.

Melissa - love the baby feet!
your brother threw spiders on my head. I am still scarred by that one. ick.October 15, 2009 – 1:50 pm

deb - PS: Your brother thought you liked it when he bounced on your belly while playing “horsey” when you were only a few months old. To him your screams meant you were laughing. I was terrified!October 15, 2009 – 9:52 am

deb - Beautiful children and beautiful photos. I’m a little envious of the photo styles young parents have access to now. When our children were little, we had to go to Sears or Olan Mills for package pix or buy an expensive camera and try to do it ourselves. Your photos of children will be life long treasures.October 15, 2009 – 9:47 am

Rossi - Well, this is about the most precious thing I’ve seen in a while. What adorable boys! I think the big bro’s faces are what you were trying to get me to make on Saturday. ;) Fantastic work, Amanda.October 15, 2009 – 9:38 am
