loper & hank

It seems as though this family session almost never happened. Sadly, we had to reschedule several times because of sickness, calendar conflicts and weather! But the Friday afternoon that I finally met this sweet family we were all well and the weather was beautiful. I made instant friends with big brother, Loper. He had a huge smile on his face the whole time as he showed me everything in his room.

Baby Hank is only eight weeks old. He had just been to the doctor earlier that day, but held up remarkably well despite the FOUR shots they gave him!

The boys had on coordinating Christmas outfits that were so cute. I found out that both outfits were handmade by a neighbor and then monogrammed. One day I’ll have to tell you all about my failures as a seamstress and how much I truly admire those who are able to sew.

We were able to go out into the yard for a few more photos before sunset. Loper is all boy and gave my energy a run for the money as we ran and ran all around the yard. We were able to get him to sit still for a few quick shots with his brother, and I snagged this sweet one.

We originally planned to do a newborn session with Hank, but because of the rescheduling we were never able to. Before I left, we snuck in a few of the sweet details that we would have taken. Look at those precious bloomers!
