These sisters… oh my. They are two of the sweetest, most energetic girls I have ever met. Older sister Sarah Parker was my new friend from the moment we said hello. Little sister Mae took a few minutes to warm up, but was just as outgoing as her big sister. It was really crowded out on Morris Avenue the day of our session, but we were able to tuck away in one of the many cubbys for our session. These were some of the first photos we took and two of my favorites.

Sarah Parker is a doll. She was so sweet to her little sister and was game for everything I suggested. Even hugging! But my favorite photos of her are the times when we were off away from everyone else, and she had the camera to herself. I caught her by surprise a few times by taking photos when she wasn’t looking, but she would instantly perk up when she noticed. She is such a natural in front of the camera and those big blue eyes just shine.

Mae is such a cutie! She was a little more spirited than her sister and definitley kept me on my toes. My favorite photos of her were the ones where I caught her off guard laughing and having fun. She has a contagious smile that brightens up her WHOLE FACE. Really. She is absolutely precious.

This photo sums up our session for me. Laughing and being silly but capturing some awesome true-to-life moments. I love it.

The girls outfits were A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. I loved how the patterns were mixed matched making each one unique, but still complimentary to the other. And if you were wondering… yes, this is the handiwork of the ever-popular seamstress, Sheree Pair. I’m telling ya’ll, the woman has a gift.

Even though the session was focused on the girls, we were able to grab a few quick photos of the whole family. A special shout out to Dad. We inadvertantly scheduled the family photography session right in the middle of the Alabama vs. LSU football game. He came out with no complaints and was such a good sport! I think it was totally worth it for a great family shot like this.
