rookie of the year

A few weeks ago, I reflected on Rosston’s first year and how quickly this time has gone by. Well, he officially turned one year old yesterday. The theme of his upcoming one-year-old birthday party is “Rookie of the Year” — very fitting. Rosston’s dad, Scott, played baseball for the University of Alabama, and we have always joked that Rosston was being groomed to be a little slugger. April wanted to carry the theme into the party invitations, so we included a baseball series as part of our family session last month.

The invitations turned out PRECIOUS. April incorporated five or six of the photos from the session, making a trifold invitation. I didn’t have time this morning to photograph it, but I’ll try to get some pictures of it up in the next few days. I have to run out the door, so I’ll leave you with some of my very favorites.
