I have been photographing this sweet baby since before he was born. I can’t believe that he will already be turning one in August. It was super hot the afternoon that we met up for his one-year session, but you’d never know it Jake’s good mood and big smiles.
The grass was kind of itchy, and Jake didn’t want to crawl on his knees in it. His four legged crawl was cracking us all up.
Because it was his one-year-birthday shoot, it was only appropriate that we have a big, giant balloon. He didn’t really know what to do with it at first, but he grabbed the string and bopped himself in the head one good time. He laughed hysterically, and continued to bounce the balloon over and over and over.
We moved out to the golf course near the family’s home for an outfit change and some family photos. We got a lot of really cute family photos, but these are some of my favorites.
Jake has a few little teeth on the bottom and one or two starting to pop through on the top. Precious!
