There is no news that is more exciting to me than that of a new baby on the way. So when Barbi e-mailed me a few weeks back, I could hardly contain my big stupid grin. I couldn’t think of a better way to explain, so I’ll let the words from her original e-mail do the talking. She said, “We are keeping this a secret, like have not told a soul, and want our families to get the super surprise in their mailbox. I have an idea… but I need your help in making it a reality.”
And that is how this project came to be. I was truly honored that Barbi trusted me with such big news and that I was able to help bring her idea to life. The secret is now officially out, and Barbi has given me permission to share it with all of you! A big congratulations to you, Barbi and Keith! I hope this is just the first of many family photos to come :)
We tried lots of different combinations with the shoes, but this was one of my favorites. I love that Barbi and Keith chose it for the front of their cards. And how stinkin’ CUTE are those tiny New Balance?
