wilder family | seaside, florida

School started back for almost everyone in our area today. I love that my Facebook feed is full of little ones as they head out for their first day of school. I have to admit, I’m a little over the heat of the summer myself and am looking forward to the cool fall days ahead. Before we get too far away from the lazy days of summer, I wanted to revisit a session from earlier this summer that I haven’t posted.

The Wilder family contacted me about photographing their July Fourth trip to Seaside, Florida this summer. It just so happened that my family was also going to be down at the beach that week, and the timing worked out perfectly. It was the one time of the year that the whole Wilder family would be together, and I was happy to get to be but a small part of their celebration.

After hanging out on the beach for a bit, everyone changed for a little bit more formal photos. I loved their pastel color palette and how everyone coordinated just so without trying too hard.

The 12 grandchildren range in age from 1-19 years. Can you believe there are only three girls in the whole bunch?!
