Kristin and Jon Tyler were married at Southside Baptist Church in downtown Birmingham. From the outside, it was a typical August day in Alabama — we were running from the humidity and storms all day. But on the inside, it was a day of excitement and special touches, lots of laughs and love from family and friends… and fireworks! Kristin and Jon Tyler are so sweet together, and I couldn’t have been happier to share the day with them.
Kristin and Jon Tyler opted to see each other before the ceremony. Y’all know I love this for so many reasons, but the fact that the bottom fell out of the sky half way through the ceremony made me so thankful we had all of the beautiful moments already in the photographic books, so to speak. It was hot and crazy-humid, but I love how all of their photos turned out!
Kristin and Jon Tyler’s wedding reception was held at the famous The Club atop Red Mountain in Birmingham. We had gorgeous views of the city and the perfect setting for good food and lots of dancing. The highlight of the night was the fireworks show. Just as you thought it was ending, BOOM! The fireworks kept going and going. Such a fun night!
